It's beginning to look alot like Christmas...

It's finally snowing for good here in Ottawa. I'm hoping it'll stay cold so I can hit the outdoor rinks soon. I have 3 concepts today, a Team Canada one, a Ducks one and a Jets one, for the HJC Contest.

As you can see, this one was based on the jerseys worn by the Trail Smoke Eaters at the World Championships back in 1961. This was when amateur teams represented Canada on the International Stage. I included the patch that they wore to signify their team name. Hopefully the "Nuge" can make the team and lead us to Golden Glory once again.

There's not much really to say about this one, I was just fooling around with a few templates and I thought this looked kinda neat.

This one is a mash-up of the original Jets jerseys from the old team that moved to Phoenix (now Arizona). I tried to give it that throwback look while at the same time keeping modern elements.

Quebec Voyageurs and the mystery logo

Hi everybody, I have one concept today, and a logo. HJC is having an expansion contest, and I created a Quebec Voyageurs concept.

The logos were created by Stéphane Sinotte.

The problem is, I don't know what to do with it. I was originally going to use it for the Binghamton Senators, but I don't really think it works with them. Do you guys have any suggestions as to who to use this logo for?

2015 Winter Classic

Hey Guys, here are some concepts for a Winter Classic between the Canucks and the Sens. Since the Canucks recently Purchased the Millionaire's brand, I used it here. For the Sens, I used a barberpole design, but on the shoulders. I also created the Winter Classic logo (bare with me, I'm not the best logo designer).

Hi guys, sorry again for the lack of posts. I've been pretty busy with hockey tryouts, soccer and other stuff. That probably won't change for a week or so. But, I have a question for you guys. Return of the Nordiques and Stars Re-Brand

Alfie's Return and Rivermen Finalists

He's back!

The Peoria Rivermen announced the four finalists for their jersey contest today. You see the finalists at http://www.rivermen.net/jersey-poll. Congrats to Ryan Haslett! I am personally incredibly shocked that Justin Cox is not a finalist, though. Well, what can you do?

Avs, Flyers, Cowboys and Black Kats

Here are some concepts that Justin sent me.

I love these. Great job keeping their awesome logos and at the same time making their uniforms 100 times better. The execution is almost perfect, but there are no TV numbers on the right sleeve of the back of the white jersey.

I really like this one because to me it is a perfect Flyers alternate jersey. The logo is amazing! The vintage white also gives it that heritage or throwback feel. I'm also glad you kept the coloured namebar.

Four New Concepts

I made these as part of my AHL Redesign. I wanted to make orange a primary colour.

The Wings' jersey is based on the 1928-1929 Detroit Cougars sweater, and the Leafs' is based on their 1940's and 50's sweater.

I wanted to design a green Canucks jersey, so I tried this out.

I simply based these on the 1980's jerseys.
